The Inter-Residence Hall Council (IRC), comprised of representatives from each residence hall, collaborates to enhance the residential experience through educational and social initiatives, aiming to elevate campus living standards. We actively voice the concerns and ideas of residence hall students to the administration.
Our mission is twofold: to foster enjoyable programming and to enrich student life. Some of our key initiatives include:
•    Off Campus Trips
•    Fall & Spring Festivals
•    Almost Midnight Breakfast
•    IRC’s Finest
•    Dean's Cup: The Dean’s Cup is an exciting year-long competition where residence halls compete against each other in monthly challenges. Previous Dean’s Cup events have included thrilling Trivia Nights, Sports Competitions, and intense Minute to Win It Challenges. The culmination of the Dean’s Cup is the exhilarating Super Saturday, a full-campus field day extravaganza. The victorious hall not only earns bragging rights for the next year but also secures a prominent trophy displayed in their residence hall. Attendance is crucial, so be sure to cheer on your hall by showing up to every event!
IRC General Body Meetings convene weekly on Tuesdays at 3:30 pm in the Multi-Purpose Room in Mid Campus. Stay updated on program announcements and occasional giveaways by following our social media pages.Â

Committees
The Budget Committee meets at will, based on the need of the Residence Halls. When a Resident Assistant or Hall Council needs additional funding for programming for the residents, they can create a pitch to give to the Budget Committee, who will then discuss the program idea and vote on whether the program should receive the funding requested.
The Dean's Cup Committee meets on a weekly basis in order to plan, coordinate, and supervise monthly inter-hall competitions of wit, strength, and various skills. After a year of intense competition, it all culminates in a campus-wide Field Day battle to bring a trophy back to the winner's Residence Hall. Whether you want to compete or just support your hall, attendance has a huge impact on points!
The Food Committee is a space where representatives from each hall can meet bi-weekly with Sodexo to provide feedback to help enhance the quality of the dining experience on campus.
