The Office of Financial Aid provides financial aid information, support, and guidance to Central’s current and prospective students. Our Financial Aid team recognize that each student’s journey is unique and provides each student the individual support they need to plan for their future success. The result is a financial aid package and plan that fits your need!
2025-2026 FAFSA is now available to complete
We encourage everyone to complete a FAFSA. An early FAFSA opens the opportunity to Grant funds available through the University. Late applicants can still qualify for Direct Loans and Pell Grants, if eligible.
We encourage current and Spring semester students to complete the 2024-2025 FAFSA.
Pell Promise
Central Connecticut State University is fully committed to the academic success of our Pell grant recipients and is honored to support them with The Pell Promise. Upon submission of the FAFSA, all full-time first time incoming and transfer qualifying students, admitted starting the Fall 2025 semester, who have an Student Aid Index between -1500 and 6699 will receive scholarships and grants that cover the full cost of tuition and fees. In other words, the out-of-pocket academic expenses that remain after your federal Pell grant and state aid funds are applied will be covered by the university. We hope this affords you financial and academic success as you pursue your degree at Central.
