Sign up for a Success Central peer mentor

Published:

Success Central is gearing up for its 10th year of providing research-based peer mentoring to first- and second-year students.

Success Central helps students reach their goals throughout the academic year. In this program, students are matched with a junior or senior peer mentor who is trained to teach new students important skills like time-management; study tips; where to go for help; how to balance life demands and classes; navigating the social scene; and more!

The best part is that this is a free program, and we support students of any major. Students who participate will work with their mentor to schedule a time to meet for 30 minutes weekly or every other week.

Students who are interested in working with a peer mentor should send an email to successcentral@ccsu.edu or click on “sign up” on our webpage at www.ccsu.edu/success-central/. Space is limited, so please reach out as soon as possible. Watch our welcome video on Instagram!

For more information, contact Dr. Reginald Simmons, the faculty supervisor of Success Central, or coordinator Victoria Wallington via email at successcentral@ccsu.edu.
