Courses

The students should register for WL 300 at Central- Topics in World Language Cultural study; 3 credits (Prerequisite: permission by the instructor). We will transfer another 3 credits from the University of Salamanca to Central as SPAN 315.

Scholarship

A limited number of scholarships are available. Scholarships will be a minimum of $500 based on the available funds. A minimum GPA requirement is 3.0! Scholarships are awarded on a first-first come first-served basis. The registration portal has a limited timeframe, we suggest you prepare your scholarship essay before starting the application! They are due together.

Spanish on the Move: Salamanca, Spain

Are you majoring or minoring in Spanish? This program is for you. Our course abroad in Salamanca will help you enhance your proficiency in Spanish while being immersed in the rich history and culture of Spain. You also earn six credits! 

In this program, students increase their Spanish proficiency through formal classes at the University of Salamanca and through interactions with Spanish students and local residents. While immersed in the language, you increase your understanding of Spanish culture and history through trips to historic cities such as Madrid, Toledo, or Segovia. In addition to these long excursions, the students also participate in local tours and extracurricular activities offered by the University.  

Our program is based at the University of Salamanca- one of the oldest and best ranked universities in Europe. The city of Salamanca itself has been recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Come join us for a course that increases your proficiency in the Spanish language, your intercultural skills, and your knowledge of the culture and the people of Spain.
