Nursing education resource RNCareers.org recognized Central Connecticut State University as one of the best nursing schools in Connecticut. Central's Bachelor of Science in Nursing program was ranked third in the state, and its RN to BSN program landed at second in the state.

To create its rankings, RN Careers evaluated each institution’s first-time NCLEX-RN passing rates, the number of students taking the test, the program nursing accreditation, and other factors, then compared the results against other nursing programs in Connecticut.

“Central Connecticut State University has long been recognized for its commitment to excellence in nursing education. Its rigorous curriculum, state-of-the-art facilities, and dedicated faculty ensure that nursing students receive the highest quality education. Their graduates are well-prepared to make significant contributions to the healthcare profession,” says Jeff Morrow, publisher at RNCareers.org.

RNCareers.org annually evaluates more than 1,700 nursing schools to compile its merit-based rankings. Factors include program accreditation, tuition costs, academic excellence, faculty qualifications, student satisfaction, program offerings, career outcomes, and school reputation. RNCareers.org is managed by a team of nurse educators, nurse practitioners, RNs, and LPNs.
