From a young age, freshman Elisha Correa knew she was Central-bound.
She was inspired as a second-grader at Fair Haven School during its annual Snowball event, which brings community members, including representatives from the state's universities, to the New Haven school to encourage students to attend college.
Correa has returned to Fair Haven School for every Snowball since that important day, and this year she spoke to local media about why the Snowball is so special to her.
