The Gerontological Society of America featured Central in its summer 2024 newsletter. The newsletter highlighted a collaboration between the Gerontology Committee and faculty members from the Many Voices Initiative to host an intergenerational afternoon of painting and fellowship.
“Students and community members of all ages created art pieces together based on social justice and equity, representing the many voices of Central and the surrounding community,” according to the newsletter. “The art was displayed at various locations around campus.”
