Civil Engineering graduating seniors and American Society of Civil Engineers student club members visited the Connecticut Department of Transportation headquarters with Dr. Bin (Brenda) Zhou and Dr. Young Moo Sohn. The group visited the state-of-the-art Newington Operations Center and interacted with engineers/planners from a wide range of disciplines, including highway design, engineering surveying, soils and foundation, construction, state bridge design, traffic engineering operations, and safety engineering.
