Central Connecticut State University appears among the Best Graduate Schools in the country by U.S. News and World Report, which released its annual rankings Tuesday.
U.S. News & World Report placed the Doctor of Nurse Anesthesia Practice Central Connecticut State University program in the number-61 spot out of 112 programs accredited by the Council on Accreditation of Nurse Anesthesia Educational Programs.
U.S. News produced eight new graduate-level degree rankings in health fields, which were calculated and published based on U.S. News surveys conducted in fall 2023 and early 2024. For each, respondents rated peer programs on a 1-5 scale of academic quality, and rankings were determined by the average of ratings each program received.
The rankings are intended as a guide for prospective graduate students, evaluate programs in a variety of disciplines, including business, education, engineering, health, nursing, public affairs, and science.
