Published:

The Excellence in Teaching (EIT) Committee recently announce this year’s Honor Roll, Semi-Finalists, and Finalists. Through their dedication, creativity, and commitment to students, these faculty members have made a lasting impact in and beyond the classroom.

This year, the committee received a record-breaking 329 nominations from students (210 full-time, 119 part-time), reflecting the deep appreciation for the outstanding teaching at Central. A record 156 faculty members (121 full-time, 35 part-time) submitted applications, making this one of the most competitive years yet.

The EIT Committee will visit the classrooms of each finalist before selecting this year’s award recipients. The committee will host the annual Excellence in Teaching Awards ceremony on recipients on Friday, April 25.
