Connecticut Public Radio's “Where We Live” recently spoke with educators who updated the standards for social studies curriculums in Connecticut schools, following a 2021 directive from the state. Among them is Dr. Michael Bartone, an associate professor in literacy, elementary, and early childhood education at Central.
