Please join us to celebrate Excellence in Teaching on Friday, May 3, from 8:45 to 11:30 a.m. in the Constitution Room at Memorial Hall.
In celebration of Central’s 175th year in teaching, the 2024 Awards Day will be a whole new experience. The committee has transformed the EIT celebration so that it’s more focused on teaching, with a few extra surprises, and will conclude by late morning.
Highlights include:
A conversation with President Toro and Provost Kostelis.
A brief look back at 175 years of teaching at Central.
Commendations for EIT, Distinguished Service Award (DSA), and Connecticut State University Professors (CSU).
Presentation of Excellence in Teaching Awards 2024: Honor Roll, Semi-Finalists and Finalists will all be individually recognized by the dean of their respective school.
Refreshments and camaraderie.
