Central professor Jeffrey Teitler and his team at Envision Films earned four Boston/New England Emmy Awards at the 47th Boston/New England Emmy Awards ceremony on June 8.
Serving as a professor of Production and Performance studies at Central, Teitler is also an Artist-in-Residence at Hartford HealthCare and a regular Medscape contributor.
Focusing on healthcare, public health, and the arts, Teitler’s films and documentaries are presented in film festivals nationwide. Currently producing at Hartford HealthCare, other films have been presented for the Centers for Disease Control, the United Nations, and other national institutes.
Teitler’s collaborations with Hartford HealthCare earned the following awards:
Best Commercial: “Barber on a Mission of Care”
Best Photographer – Short Form Content: “Barber on a Mission of Care”
Best PSA Campaign: Hartford HealthCare Community Campaign
