Students from Wilcox Technical School in Meriden recently joined Central Design faculty for a collaborative diversity workshop on Jan. 28. The workshop, centered around Martin Luther King Jr.’s question, “What are you doing for others?” encouraged students to design posters that celebrate diversity and inclusion, using Adobe Firefly’s text-to-image generator (below).
Students also participated in a university tour, including a stop at the Design and VR labs, and lunch at Memorial Hall. The Center for Community Engagement & Social Research and the Art and Design Department supported the workshop.
