After graduation many of our students work in biotech, pharmaceuticals, and academic laboratories. Recent graduates recommend using your peers for networking as one of the best ways to get a job. Often a fellow BMS graduate provides a reference, informs peers of job openings, and even drops off a friend’s application to their supervisor. Keep in touch with both the faculty and fellow students. Consider joining the BMS alumni page of Facebook. Look for postings on job opportunities, ask for advise from fellow graduates, and keep up-to-date on BMS happenings.
Here are some links that may help in your job/internship search. Many of the search engines allow you to search for your job type (technician, research assistant, laboratory manager), location, salary, and other variables to help you find the best fit.
