Discussion: Reproductive Justice and Women's Rights in Modern Latin America

Join us for a discussion on “Reproductive Justice and Women’s Rights in Contemporary Latin America” with Dr. Cassia Roth, from the University of California, Riverside. This event is open to the public and the Central campus community! Guests are welcome to choose one of two lecture sessions, with one in the morning from 9:25 to 10:40 a.m. in the Sprague-Carleton Room at the Student Center and an afternoon session from 3 to 4:30 p.m. at Barnard Hall, Room 101.

Dr. Roth holds a doctorate in Latin American History with a concentration in Gender Studies from UCLA, along with a dual master’s degree in Public Health in Epidemiology from the University of Georgia and an MA in Latin American History from UCLA. She is currently an associate professor in the Department of Society, Environment, and Health Equity at UC Riverside.
