The CCSU Center for Teaching and Innovation (Instructional Design and Distance Learning Development) is seeking to hire a student to provide instructional technology support for faculty; documentation and resource creation; and project support/maintenance.
Responsibilities include:
- Answer phones and greet faculty and staff
- Understanding of the mission and needs of the CTI and as a result, able to direct our clients to the appropriate support mechanism.
- Specifically address individual faculty or departmental instructional technology interests in applying existing technology to their projects
- Work individually with faculty and staff to address their technology needs
Candidates for this position must have the following minimum requirements:
- A current student at CCSU
- Experience working in both Macintosh- and PC-based environments
- Intermediate expertise in software tools such as Microsoft Office
- Experience with a learning management system such as Blackboard
Technical expertise in one or more of the following areas is preferred:
- Standard software applications (i.e. Microsoft Office)
- Screen Casting (i.e. Camtasia)
