The CCSU Center for Teaching and Innovation (Instructional Design and Distance Learning Development) is seeking to hire a student to provide instructional technology support for faculty; documentation and resource creation; and project support/maintenance.

Responsibilities include:

  • Answer phones and greet faculty and staff
  • Understanding of the mission and needs of the CTI and as a result, able to direct our clients to the appropriate support mechanism.
  • Specifically address individual faculty or departmental instructional technology interests in applying existing technology to their projects
  • Work individually with faculty and staff to address their technology needs

Candidates for this position must have the following minimum requirements:

  • A current student at CCSU
  • Experience working in both Macintosh- and PC-based environments
  • Intermediate expertise in software tools such as Microsoft Office
  • Experience with a learning management system such as Blackboard

Technical expertise in one or more of the following areas is preferred:

  • Standard software applications (i.e. Microsoft Office)
  • Screen Casting (i.e. Camtasia)
