The Department of Criminology and Criminal Justice is pleased to present the 2022 Departmental Honors Award to Taylor LaPira. During her time at Central, Taylor has consistently exceeded expectations academically. Taylor also has served in various leadership roles in the Criminal Justice (CJ) Club, including president and vice-president. Additionally, she completed an internship with William C. Rivera Law Office in New Britain. Her internship, along with her work experience with the Hospital for Special Care, has sparked her interest in potentially pursuing medical malpractice law. She will be attending Quinnipiac University School of Law this fall to further her career goals. We will miss her energy and dedication but are confident that she will be an asset to the criminal justice field. Congratulations, Taylor!!
