Graphics Technology Students shine at the National Level PGSF & GCSFNE Scholarship Contest/Awards

Computer Electronics and Graphics Technology Department (CEGT) is happy to notify the Office of the Dean, School of Engineering, Science & Technology (SEST), Central Connecticut State University (Central) that the following GRAPHICS TECHNOLOGY (GRT) major students & Graphic/Design Information student have received the scholarships from two national level Print and Graphics related foundations.

The scholarship process was very competetive, approximately 900 applicants (at two foundations: PGSF & GCSFNE) for the year. It is a great achievement of Central students selected among the so many applicants. A total of US$20,560.00 awarded for the academic year 2022-2023. The details of students and foundations as follows:

  1. Alyssa Vezina, 4th year GRT student at Central. The Scholarship awards were given by the Printing & Graphic Scholarship Foundation (PGSF), Pittsburgh, PA and the Graphic Communications Scholarship Foundation of New England (GCSFNE), Southborough, MA.
  2. Richard Marte, 4th year GRT student at Central. The Scholarship award was given by the Printing & Graphic Scholarship Foundation (PGSF), Pittsburgh, PA.
  3. Shayla Patterson, 2nd year GRT Student at Central. The Scholarship award was given by Graphic Communications Scholarship Foundation of New England (GCSFNE), Southborough, MA.
  4. Lydia Moroz, 2nd year Graphic/Design Information student at Central. The Scholarship award was given by the Printing & Graphic Scholarship Foundation (PGSF), Pittsburgh, PA.
