The Center for Teaching and Innovation is teaming up with the Office of Grants & Funded Research and the Office of Post-Award Grants for a workshop on funding for faculty activities. The workshop will take place on Thursday, Sept. 22, from 12:15 to 1:15 p.m. in Barnard Hall, Room 426. Presenters are Brenda Lopez, assistant director, Grants and Funded Research, and Kathy Moore, grants administration manager, Post-Award Grants.
Have you ever thought about securing a grant to fund your research or project at Central? Join us to
understand what types of internal and external grants are available to faculty, how to find and secure
a grant, how to work with the offices to follow procedures, collaborate, and reduce the last-minute
rush of deadlines while encouraging academic research throughout the university. Also learn about
compliance, award terms, regulations (state, federal, and university), and your responsibilities as a
grantee after you receive your grant.
