Hospital for Special Care is a not-for-profit, long-term acute care hospital serving both adults and children in the U.S. HFSC is seeking student volunteers, who can get involved in patient activities and program/staff support, which includes: dining companions, spiritual care, physical/occupational therapy, speech therapy, therapeutic recreation, adaptive sports, autism center, canine visits, clerical work, food services, human resources, infection prevention & control, information desk, legal, manes & motions therapeutic riding, nursing unit-based support, pharmacy, quality, research, and unit secretary.
Volunteer opportunities are available at both the New Britain and Hartford locations.
