Need child care this spring?

The CCSU Drop-in Child Care Center at Carroll Hall is now enrolling for the Winter Intercession and Spring 2023 semester!

In a recent expansion of University’s student support services, registered student-parents now have the option to sign up for free, drop-in child care, preschool education, and school-aged enrichment programs, while they attend classes. The center prioritizes registration to accommodate student-parents, however, at this time, faculty and staff are welcome to register their child for a fee.

The center serves 3- to 12-year-olds during the academic year. Its teaching team, led by Director Kelly McCarthy, has developed high-quality, developmentally appropriate educational and enrichment experiences, and supports all learners through social and emotional learning, differentiated instruction, and culturally responsive teaching.

Please note, only registered students will have access to child-care services, and they must complete the registration process before their children can begin attending programs at the Center. Parents will receive an email within 48 hours to confirm their registration and will be provided with additional instructions. Online registration materials, instructions, and other important enrollment information are available at this link or contact Director Kelly McCarthy at (860) 832-2125 or at kellymccarthy@ccsu.edu.
