Donahue and Osoba win EIT award

The Excellence in Teaching (EIT) Committee announced the winners of the 2022-2023 EIT Awards during Faculty Appreciation Day on April 21. Adjunct Marketing professor Cathleen Donahue won the Excellence in Teaching Award for part-time faculty, and Brian Osoba, associate professor of Economics, won the Full-Time Excellence in Teaching Award.

This year’s finalists for the award were Erica Nelson, adjunct, Dance Education; Maria Mongillo, associate professor, Educational Leadership & Instructional Technology; and Young moo Sohn, associate professor, Civil Engineering.

The committee noted in a recent announcement, “Each of this year’s finalist are outstanding educators and make connections with their students that will last for years to come. The EIT Committee is particularly happy that we managed to choose such disciplinary diversity in our selections but saddened that we cannot name everyone is a finalist.”
