Biography

Jacob Werblow, Ph.D. is a tenured full professor of educational leadership at Central Connecticut State University, and an affiliate faculty member with the University of Connecticut (UCONN). In addition, Jacob serves as the associate director of the Center for Teaching Critical Thinking and Creativity at San Diego State University, where he has co-published a series of multilingual children's books. He has received numerous awards for his teaching and research, including serving as a two-time U.S. Fulbright Scholar (Kyoto, Japan '19-'20 and Malaga, Spain '25) and a Harber Fellow of Education and Entrepreneurship at Wesleyan University.  Jacob has presented / published his work at over 100 academic venues. His research has been featured in Rethinking Schools and The New York Times.  On most days, Jacob rides his bicycle to work.
