Professor Rachel Rachler possesses a comprehensive clinical and academic background. She obtained a bachelor's degree in nursing from Quinnipiac University, graduated from the Yale New Haven Hospital School of Nurse Anesthesia, and received her Master’s degree in the Biological Sciences: Anesthesia from Central Connecticut State University, and a Doctor of Nurse Anesthesia Practice degree from Virginia Commonwealth University. Currently, she holds the position of full professor and Department Chair for Nurse Anesthesia Practice at Central Connecticut State University.
With over 20 years of experience as a Board Certified Nurse Anesthetist, her areas of expertise include high-risk obstetric anesthesia and women's health. She is actively engaged in clinical research that centers on maternal hemorrhage and maternal hypertensive disorders.
