Ryan Riggs

Interests and Hobbies: I enjoy gaming on a multitude of systems in my spare time. I also enjoy music and performing arts, as well as animation. 

Short Bio: I am the Residence Hall Director of Sheridan Hall and a graduate student in the Criminal Justice program here at central. I recently graduated from Eastern Connecticut State University in 2022 with my bachelors degree in Criminology and Sociology as well as a minor in music. During my undergraduate study I was very involved in the music program, doing course work as a member of chamber singers, opera, and private voice lessons, as well as a student leader as an Resident Assistant for 3 years. I really enjoyed my time as a student and as an RA and I am excited to continue working with students to provide them a similar experience that I had as a young college student. 

Message to New Students: Welcome to Central! Starting college can be a scary experience for some students but I can promise you its a life changing experience you do not want to miss out on. There are so many people and resources available here to help you along you path should you ever be confused on where to head to next, if you happen to live in Sheridan, feel free to stop by my office to chat about anything. My door is always open!
