Biography

Sarah is a dedicated member of the Central community who values the education that takes place both inside and outside of the classroom. She believes in helping students figure out the problems they want to solve in the world and how students can use their talents in a way that is consistent with their values.

Sarah has been a member of the Central community since the fall of 2004, majoring in History. As an undergraduate student, Sarah took on leadership roles within the Central Chapter of Habitat for Humanity and the Student Government Association. She worked at the Student Center Information Desk and became a Center Manager while balancing field experience for the School of Education. Awards include the Volunteer Scholar of the Year (2007) and the President's Citation Award (2009). 

As a graduate student at Central, Sarah obtained her M.S. in Counseling with a Specialization in Student Development in Higher Education. She was a graduate intern for Student Activities/Leadership Development and the Student Center. Awards include the Association for College Unions International (ACUI) College Union Role Model and Campus Life Award (2013).
