Biography

Dr. Xiao Ling received his Ph.D. in Business Administration from McMaster University. He joined Central as an Assistant Professor in August 2022, following a term as a Visiting Assistant Professor at Northeastern University.

His primary research interests include marketing strategy, retail pricing, and marketing analytics. He is specifically interested in dynamic pricing with small price adjustments and price rigidity in the retail grocery sector. He leverages big data and quantitative methods in his research.

His teaching interest focuses on (but not limited to) quantitative and analytics courses at both undergraduate and graduate level.

He also serves as the advisor for the Marketing Club at Central.
