When building applications for IOT devices, social media or business applications, there are approaches that must be taken to ensure integrity, security and availability of these applications. If building applications for a smaller business there may be more security mitigation work than a developer to perform than at a larger corporation where more staff can handle the necessary roles for cyber security, which includes risk management. Let’s discuss the different application development with Cybersecurity approaches that are taken for small or large companies.

Attending a technical high school and learning about how computer works, started a spark in me to pursue a career in computer science. Working at various corporations and finally landing a software engineering role at RTX has increased my knowledge of how the different approach utilized in software systems.

In order to increase my knowledge and to build better software systems, I’ve earned an Masters of Science at Quinnipiac University and currently pursuing a PhD at Florida Atlantic University.
