In-State Tuition
In 2015 Connecticut granted undocumented students the ability to qualify for in-state tuition at the State’s public institutions of higher education when the Connecticut General Assembly passed House Bill 6844. To qualify, students must demonstrate all of the following:

- The student has attended a minimum of 2 years of high school in Connecticut
- The student has graduated (or received the equivalent of a high school diploma) from a Connecticut high school
- The student is registered or enrolled at a public institution of higher education in Connecticut
- The student has filed an affidavit stating that they have filed an application to legalize their immigration status or will file such an application as soon as they are eligible to do so.
