Undergraduate students with a complete research project are encouraged to apply for the URCAP Research Award. The submission consists of a 300-word research abstract AND a letter of recommendation from the student's research mentor (a faculty member). Please be sure your advisor can provide a letter before you submit your application.
The abstract will be judged in the following categories: Descriptive Title, Purpose and Methodology, Summary of Results, Summary of Conclusions, and Clarity. Be specific, but be sure your abstract can be understood by someone who is not an expert in your field. You may well have to adapt any technical or discipline-specific language to be comprehensible to non-specialists.
Please submit your work by completing the form provided below.
Application Deadline: Wednesday, April 3.
