Opened in January 2022, the Applied Innovation Hub (AIH) houses technology enhanced active learning classrooms, computer-based classrooms, and teaching & research laboratories equipped with state-of-art equipment and instruments. The Applied Innovation Hub is one of many results of the goals set forth in President Toro’s 2030 strategic plan.
The AIH houses the Senior Design labs, XR Lab, Robotics Lab, Mechatronics Lab, Fluid Controls Lab, Electrical Engineering Labs, Fluid Lab, Engineering Materials and Material Science Labs, Scanning Electron Microscope Lab, Engineering Mechanics Lab, Controls Lab, Thermal and Energy Lab, Structural Engineering Lab, Concrete Lab, Networking Labs, Cybersecurity Lab, Innovation Design Center, and has a workplace for Senior Capstone projects.
