President's Holiday Drive to deliver happy holidays to local families, students

Following the success of its November Stuff the Pantry drive, the Central Connecticut State University is back at it with its annual December Holiday Drive in collaboration with the City of New Britain.

This year’s drive will run through Dec. 20, and the campus community will collect donations of new toys and new winter clothing for local families, students, children, and others. Collection boxes will be placed at 15 buildings throughout the Central campus: Central Police Station, Maloney Hall, Bassett Hall, Davidson Hall, Mid-Campus Residence Hall, Barnard Hall, Willard-DiLoreto Hall, Welcome Center, Copernicus Hall East Hall, Student Center, Burritt Library, Vance Academic Center, Memorial Hall, and the Applied Innovation Hub.

"Each year, our university community comes together with incredible generosity to support those in need through our annual Holiday Drive,” says Central President Zulma R. Toro. “This tradition reflects the heart and spirit of our campus—united in kindness and compassion for our neighbors. I am proud of the campus community for its unwavering commitment to making a positive impact in the lives of others.”
