Making a Reservation with CRO

All CRO reservations are now made through the Virtual EMS system. Faculty and Staff, did you know that you can book reservations for large scale events up to three years in advance using VirtualEMS? Start planning now to ensure you get the dates you want!

How to use VirtualEMS:

  • Go to VirtualEMS through this hyperlink
  • Click “Welcome, Guest” in the upper right corner, then select “Sign In”
  • Use your CCSU email and password.
  • Choose your Reservation Template and you are on your way!

Plan for a successful event

In order to make the reservation process as smooth as possible, it will be helpful to have the following information on hand when booking

  • Event Date and Time
  • Event Name
  • Estimated Attendance
  • Best Contact (name, email, contact number) for the event
  • Banner Index for the reservation
  • Who will be attending and if any VIP's will be invited
  • Catering needs
  • Room and technical needs

What's Next?

  • Once your reservation is requested through Virtual EMS, one of the CRO Event Coordinators will review the request and reach out if any additional details or information is needed.
  • When your request has been reviewed and approved, an Event Coordinator will send you a reservation summary via email.

**Please note: A reservation request is NOT a confirmation. Please DO NOT advertise for your event until you have received confirmation of the space from CRO**

For Student Organizations

  • Make the request on ClubCentral at least 21 days prior to your meeting/event/program
  • The SA/LD advisor will submit the room request on the behalf of the club/org to CRO
  • An Event Coordinator will be in contact with the SA/LD advisor and the listed club contact for details pertaining to your event if needed.
