New Britain Memorial Day Parade

A time-honored tradition in New Britain is the annual Memorial Day Parade held each year (weather-permitting) on May 30. Show your red, white, and Blue Devil spirit by participating in the parade with your peers from Central! The approximate two-mile parade route runs from Broad Street to Franklin Square and steps off at 6 p.m. The parade will start to assemble at 5 p.m. 

Central is in Division 3 of the parade, and Central participants should meet up at the corner of Burritt Street and Martha Street. 

Parking is available at the end of the route at the Senior Center, 55 Pearl St., and shuttle busses will transport participants to the parade start drop-off location. Shuttle service begins at 4 p.m.
