In a virtual event on Thursday, February 25, at 3 p.m., Central President Zulma R. Toro & Scott Pioli ’88, NFL executive and philanthropist, announced the launch of Central’s John Lewis Institute for Social Justice. They were joined by U.S. Senators Richard Blumenthal and Chris Murphy, Congressman John Larson, Governor Ned Lamont, New Britain Mayor Erin Stewart, and CSCU Interim President Jane Gates, along with several students, faculty, and alumni.
