Sharon Clapp

As Elihu Burritt Library's Digital Services Librarian and Library OER (Open Educational Resources) team member, I work on increasing the accessibility, findability, and usability of the library's online resources and services as they evolve. I modify coding of the library's web interfaces to improve their usability. I am philosophically & professionally aligned with the deployment of open source software whenever it is possible & sustainable. I have a Master's of Science in Library/Information Science and my undergraduate degree was in Anthropology (a minor in Archaeology). I work with libraries, archives, and historical organizations such as museums. I've co-authored a book chapter, a co-editor the Library/Information Technology Association's Library Leadership guide, and in 2022, was a fellow at the IDEA Institute on Artificial Intelligence (University of Texas, Austin).
