Valerie Wilson

Valerie Wilson is an accomplished career development professional holding career coach and résumé writer certifications, and boasting a career spanning over 25 years. Her expertise encompasses coaching high school and college students, adult learners, and experienced professionals through career transitions. She began her career in the personnel help industry, assisting individuals in securing both temporary and permanent employment. Later, Valerie served in career development in the Career Readiness Unit at Weaver High School, and spent 15 years in various roles in the Career Development Center at the University of Saint Joseph. Valerie earned her B.S. in Business Management from Bryant University and her M.Ed. in Student Personnel Administration from Springfield College. In 2021, she launched Career Coaching by Valerie to help professionals advance in their careers. She joined Central Connecticut State University as Assistant Director in the Career Development Office in November 2022.
