We’re happy that you’ve decided to return to Central to resume your educational journey! The information below will assist you in determining your next steps.
If your Registration Status is Active, you are ready to reach out to your Academic Advisor. If your Registration Status is Inactive, you will need to file the appropriate form with our Office of Admissions.
You can check your Status by looking under the Student Information Tab in WebCentral Banner Web.
- If you were Full Time and in Good Standing and filed a Leave of Absence before you left and are returning within the timeframe you indicated on that form, your status is Active and you can contact your Academic Advisor for advising and registration assistance.
- If you did not file a Leave of Absence, or have been away for more than two semesters, you will need to complete our Reactivation form before you can meet with an advisor. Once the form is processed through our Office of Admissions, an Academic Advisor will contact you to schedule an appointment.
- If you were Part Time and in Good Standing and took up to two semesters off, your status is Active and you can contact your academic advisor for advising and registration assistance.
- If you took more than two semesters off from school, you will need to complete our Reactivation form before you can meet with an advisor. Once the form is processed through our Office of Admissions, an Academic Advisor will contact you to schedule an appointment.
- If you were on Academic Probation when you took a break (or were dismissed) and are interested in returning to Central, you will need to complete our Readmission on Academic Probation form and obtain Dean’s Approval. Not sure how to obtain this approval, contact us at CCSUAdvising@ccsu.edu for assistance.
Not sure who your advisor is?
Using WebCentral Banner Web, look at your Degree Evaluation and your advisor will be listed below your name. If two advisors are listed, contact your Primary Advisor. If you need help finding an email address, look in the Central directory.
