We offer a variety of services ranging from a simple gym tour to get you familiar and comfortable with the space, to a full hour of personal coaching, all designed for you at your own speed.
Services offered but not limited to:

  • Gym tour

  • Bodyweight / HIIT session

Students, Faculty, and Staff can sign up with a wellness coach easily through https://myrec.ccsu.edu/

Meet the Coaches

Annamarie

Hi, I'm Anna. I love connecting and helping others and have a strong passion for healthy living. I focus on weightlifting and body weight training. I remember at the beginning of college wanting to work out, but not knowing how or where to start, so I know exactly what it feels like!

I am also a part of the Women's Club Lacrosse team, so I have knowledge and an understanding of what it's like to be part of a team/club in college. I look forward to booking with you!

Curtis

Hi, my name is Curtis! I’m a media studies major with a minor in criminology. I have experience helping people find their footing in the gym. I’m very passionate about using workouts as a tool to better one's mental health and I’m so excited to be a part of this new program!

Mikaela

Hi! My name is Mikaela Andarowski, I am currently a sophomore here at Central. I am so excited about this new program and so lucky to be a part of it. I love all things fitness and the mental and physical benefits it brings, and I would love to be able to share that with you! I focus on helping you feel more comfortable in the gym while exploring different exercises, including lifting, body weight exercises, and cardio, to help you gain confidence within the gym & yourself.

Sage

Hi everyone, my name is Sage and I’m a sophomore and Psychology major here at Central! I’ve been actively working out for about a year and a half. My main specialties include weight training and stretching, but I also have knowledge in mindfulness and meditation. I am so excited to meet and start working with all of you!

Sam

Hi, I'm Sam! I started my yoga journey in 2016 and I became a certified yoga teacher in 2020. For me, yoga is all about connecting the mind, the breath, and the body. By using breathing techniques and mindfulness practices, yoga has helped me relieve stress, quiet my racing thoughts, and develop a more compassionate relationship with my body and myself. I look forward to sharing these benefits (and more!) with you as a Wellness Coach.

AJ

Hi, I’m AJ and I am dedicated to helping individuals reach their personal fitness goals. Through creative programming, I provide patrons with an accessible and achievable path to better physical and mental health. I’m passionate about motivating and inspiring people to push their boundaries, and I believe that fitness should be a lifestyle rather than a chore.

Delia

Hi, I’m Delia and I care deeply about my peers, and there’s nothing of more value to me than helping somebody go through an experience that makes them happy, confident, and strong. I realize how overwhelming the gym can be and I want to be there for you and help you discover the benefits and joys of training that helped me become the person I am today. I’m here to help you on this journey.
