Dr. Gaylon Robinson holds the Ph.D. degree in Music Education/Choral Conducting from Florida State University, as well as both the Master of Music degree in Music Education and Bachelor of Science degree in Music from the University of Memphis.
As a conductor, Dr. Robinson has had the honor of conducting choral performances in such concert venues as the Knight Concert Hall in Miami, FL and David Geffen Hall in New York’s Lincoln Center. Dr. Robinson is an active guest conductor having led honor choirs in Tennessee, Arkansas and Georgia, and having conducted clinics for numerous high school and middle school choirs at national choral festivals across the country.
