Welcome to Central Connecticut State University! To get the advising process started, transfer students accepted into CLASS programs are required to attend a virtual Transfer Advising Session.
Sign up for a Transfer Advising Session
BEFORE the session, you will receive:
- The Microsoft Teams link to join the virtual session
- A personalized Advising Portfolio, including
- A list of recommended courses for your first semester at Central
- *Your PIN to register for courses*
- A list of transfer credits received (please send ALL previous transcripts to CCSU Admissions and tell your advisor if something is missing)
- A copy of your degree evaluation
- Contact information for your department
DURING the session, we will:
- Review the Advising Portfolio
- Describe general education and major requirements
- Demonstrate how to use and understand your Degree Evaluation
- Demonstrate the registration process
- Answer individual questions as needed
