About Our Chapter

On Friday, March 24, 2017, at 5:30 PM, the installation of the Connecticut Gamma Chapter of Kappa Mu Epsilon was held in the Connecticut Room at Central Connecticut State University. The initiation ceremony was accompanied by a variety of professors hailing from their respective math specializations. After the opening remarks of Dean Faris Malhas, an elegant dinner lavished in beautiful décor shortly followed. An engaging presentation on topology was given by Professor Rachel Schwell. The initiation and installation ceremony was led by installing officer, KME National Historian, Peter Skoner. This was made possible by sponsor Professors Dr. Marian Anton and Mihai Bailesteanu. The charter officers are: Zoe Anne Cramer, President; Nilay Nitin Bhatt, Vice President; Rina Saliu, Recording Secretary; and Cassady Brooke Zipkin, Treasurer.
