Admission Requirements

Applying for Admission

For consideration, applicants must submit the following:

  1. A completed online application with supplemental materials (ccsu.edu/apply):
    • Personal essay
    • Digital portfolio showing 10 examples of your graphic design work. Portfolio must meet department admissions committee approval for design quality. Collaborative project must be clearly identified
    • $50 application fee
  2. Official undergraduate and graduate transcripts from a regionally accredited institution of higher education (GPA of 3.00 or higher)
    • Prerequisite completion 12 credits of undergraduate coursework in graphic design with a grade of B or better
