We look forward to working with you and are excited you have chosen to study one of our dynamic
STEM degree programs in the School of Engineering, Science, and Technology!
For fall semester admits, the Office of New Student Programs will reach out to all new freshmen to
answer a few questions and to register for an overnight Orientation experience. Your advisors will build your first semester class schedule. They will go over your academic/program requirements and your class schedule with you when you attend orientation.
For spring semester admits, your advisor will reach out to schedule a meeting. During this meeting, they
will go over your academic/program requirements and your class schedule with you.
When selecting your courses, you advisor will look at your SAT/ACT scores (if we have them), and the results from your writing and math placement exams. If you haven’t already completed those, please do so as soon as possible.
During your first semester, we will begin reaching out via email to schedule an advising appointment. We
ask that you respond to the invitation by scheduling your appointment as soon as possible. During your
advising appointment, you will learn about program and general education requirements.
