Please note that required trainings will need to be completed by the end of the Spring semester.

Diversity Training is required once during employment at CCSU.  This is a three-hour training divided into two parts. This first two-hour session is virtual and/or in person. Topics covered in the first two-hour session include:  harassment, discrimination, sexual harassment, and bystander intervention; discrimination laws including sexual harassment laws and the protected classes; best practice for employer’s regarding discrimination and harassment; and how to file a complaint of discrimination and/or sexual harassment. The third hour consists of a 1-hour training module, Understanding and Preventing Microaggressions, available through NEOED. You will receive a link to the NEOED online module upon completion of the two-hour session. Please note that in order to fulfill the Diversity training requirement this online module must be completed.

Dates for Diversity Training for the Spring 2025 semester are  March 7, 2025 and April 4, 2025.
