Marvin G. Wilson - Director
The Director of Residence Life oversees the Office of Residence Life's operations, playing a crucial role in shaping the residential student experience beyond academics. Responsibilities include staff selection and supervision, budget management, policy establishment, and various other duties central to departmental function.
Sandra Matthews - Associate Director
The Associate Director oversees the Resident Assistant Program and resident education for Residence Life, while also guiding the selection and training of incoming student staff. Additionally, they supervise Resident Directors who reside on campus and offer leadership in residence life initiatives geared towards enhancing the academic achievement of Central's residential student body.
Ryan Baumann - Associate Director
The Associate Director is responsible for managing the housing assignment process, facilitating late stay and early return arrangements, and providing supervision to Resident Directors who live on campus. Additionally, they play a key role in ensuring seamless operations within the residence halls.
Susanne Ventura - Residence Life Secretary
The Residence Life Secretary oversees the central office operations and plays a pivotal role in facilitating day-to-day functions. This includes managing administrative duties and addressing resident inquiries with utmost care and attention. From guiding residents through housing applications to ensuring smooth room assignments, the Secretary is dedicated to providing exceptional service and support to residents, staff, and visitors alike. Creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere, where every resident feels valued and supported, is at the core of our mission.

Live In Professional Staff
The Area Coordinators and Resident Directors are full time administrators at Central Connecticut State University and live in the residence halls. They are responsible for the residence hall students, activities, and facilities. They provide advisement, counseling and supervision, assisting residents individually and as a group. It is their responsibility to work with students and Resident Assistants to create an environment that encourages both social and academic development of the students who live in the halls. Each night an Area Coordinator or Resident Director is on duty for crisis management and intervention.
