The Office of Residence Life at Central Connecticut State University (Central) is dedicated to fostering the professional growth of future leaders in Student Affairs. This two-year internship is designed to train and develop aspiring professionals who are passionate about higher education, with a particular focus on Residence Life.

Our comprehensive program provides a dynamic, experiential learning environment that supports the personal and professional development of a diverse cohort of graduate students. Interns will gain hands-on experience at a four-year, regional, comprehensive public university, preparing them to make meaningful contributions to the field of Student Affairs.

Program Highlights

  • Skill Development: Enhance expertise in housing operations, residential education, and student engagement.
  • Leadership Opportunities: Work with Living Learning Communities, theme housing initiatives, and advise student leadership groups such as Hall Council and the Inter-Residence Council.
