    Supports student athletes with balancing their academics and athletics through one-on-one meetings with advisors, group workshops, supervised study hall, and academic advising.

Institutional Resources

  • Grants & Funded Research
    Assists with securing internal and external funding for faculty activities, as well as ensures compliance with the terms of various sponsored awards.
  • Institutional Animal Care & Use Council
    Review's the University's program for humane care and use of animals; for reviewing concerns involving the care and use of animals. 
  • Institutional Review Board
    The role of the IRB is to facilitate, review, and approve University-sponsored research to ensure that the rights and welfare of human participants are protected.
  • University Research & Creative Achievement Program (URCAP)
    The University Research and Creative Achievement Program (URCAP) is an exciting opportunity to highlight and celebrate student creative activity across disciplines.

  • Central Community Health Education Clinic
    Provides free and accessible preventative health screenings and education to greater New Britain area residents, while offering experiential learning opportunities for students
  • Drop-In Childcare Center
    Supports Central students, faculty, and staff by providing high-quality, meaningful, and developmentally appropriate educational experiences for their children between the ages of 3-12 years old.
